SHANE'S TRAINING – Week of July 28, 2025
Continuing on with the training from last week. Following a little bit of double progression of building volume. The plan is to end the block with 5x5 on the main movements with 80%. That’s very high volume for that percentage, but I think that it is needed right now.
My shoulder is still an issue on snatches, and doing multiple reps isn’t really working for me. Instead, I am doing it as clusters when using heavier weights, generally above 165. Once my shoulder is back to normal, I’m confident that it won’t hold me back. Fortunately, my knee is starting to feel better, and I have been able to squat again, albeit lightly.
