SHANE'S TRAINING – Week of August 4, 2025
Sticking with the volume progression. Most things are feeling good. My shoulder mostly doesn’t hurt, but it is a bit tender during heavier snatches. I can feel my body trying to protect itself and not letting the weight settle back like it should, causing me to miss forward. Otherwise, my snatches feel easy. I may have to drop back to a weight that I can definitely do without missing, maybe 155, and just spam volume with that weight. Then slowly work my way back to heavier with the hope that my shoulder will adapt and be better by then.
On the bright side, my knee is holding up. At last with a light weight like 275.
