This is the last week before the week of Christmas break. I know that I will still get some training in during that week, but it will likely be a truncated version. The following week, New Year week, I will be at a cabin in the woods so I will either take the week off, or just do some kettlebell or bodyweight work. It’s good timing because I told one of my lifters that I would train with them for a hypertrophy cycle starting the first week of the year. He’s 25. I’m almost 40. A little bit of rest leading into that block is probably a good idea.
Training has felt pretty good the last couple of weeks. Squats are progressing, albeit slowly and to a box, but still progressing. Snatches are, well, I can do them so I’ll take it.
