SHANE'S TRAINING – Week of August 25, 2025
This is the last week of the high-volume block that I planned. With the exception of snatches, due to my shoulder being messed up, I feel like I’ve seen a lot of benefit from this volume. Even snatches, despite the shoulder. I was able to do all 5 sets of 4 reps this week without having to break the reps up due to my shoulder, which was the first time this whole cycle. It felt easy, if a little tenuous. My knee is still not 100% but is holding up enough to let me do some strength work and keep up the volume of classic lifts.
Overall, I think this block has been very good. I am looking forward to a little deload next week, then I will assess how I want to proceed for the next block(s).
