I have a pretty small space where I need to set up and take down the rack for every session. It just fits and does the job well. The combination of price and portability is unmatched. Generally it is really easy to set up and take down. My teenager daughter can do it, although the spring loaded pins are a bit tough for her to pull. Note that you need about 44" on a side to extend the uprights horizontally before you can flip them up. In a really tiny space with less than that, this can require some spatial reasoning. Once it is all locked down and tightened, it is pretty sturdy. I'm 6' and can comfortably use the 2nd to last hole for squats. At that extreme there is a little sway when you re-rack, but it is barely noticeable. The J hooks could be a little longer. The only other note is that when it is folded up, the bars do not lock together. So when moving it, you kind of squeeze it to keep it together
So far this has been perfect. I don’t have room in my house for a rack. I don’t have a covered space outside for a rack. With this rack I can keep it in my shed and protected from elements and it’s SUPER easy to set up. Much sturdier than I was expecting. Excited to really start pushing myself on squats now that I have a rack
This review is actually an update to a previous review. I received my rack quickly and without issue. Upon unpacking the rack, I noticed that I was missing a few bolts from the foot plate. I reached out to Michael Tseng and with the assistance of Shane, they corrected the issue. Replacement bolts were sent out with extras if I needed them. I could not be happier with the service I received. I would recommend this Rack to anyone looking for a well built rack that saves space. Honestly…there’s nothing to think about…BUY AN AGILE RACK TODAY!! You will not regret it!! Thank you again Michael and Shane!! I appreciate your assistance!!
I though about buying my rack for months. My biggest concern was sturdiness when re-racking a heavy set on bench or squat. The uprights move a bit, but nothing that anyone should be worried about. This rack is solid. Worth every penny. I love this rack.
There are many half-way useful, cheaper "solutions" that attempt to circumvent the need for a sturdy squat rack in a home gym, but this rack solves the big lift, small space problem. I rowed on the national team and over the past decade have had my fair share of alternative strength phases (landmine, dumbbells, HIIT), but I love the classics the most -- back squat, front squat, inverted rack rows... I need a rack and I need it to stay put. This rack is legit. Structurally, it holds up and then folds back down into the corner when your office needs to look like an office again. The convenience of doing my favorite lifts at home in between cycling and run days is the best!

Hi Mike,
We don’t recommend leaving it outdoors for extended periods of time especially in damp environments, as there are parts that could be prone to rust and sun damage and will void the warranty. Having said that, keeping it covered outdoors when not in use will help prevent undue wear and damage.
