Solid, sturdy, yet fits under the bed

Without a bench, there's only so much you can do at home, but there's always the issue of where do I store it so that I don't have to look at it all day long...

This bench folds all the way down flat, so along with my Verse Agile Rack, it lives under the bed and out of sight!

It's also very sturdy feeling, and the hydraulics on the legs as they unfold adds to that feeling. Verse makes very solid, user friendly and well-built equipment and this piece is no exception!

My husband and I have a pretty compact home gym, so we’re always looking for high quality, space-saving equipment. This bench has been a total win. It folds down flat, making it super easy to tuck away when we’re done—no awkward, bulky bench taking up valuable space.

It’s also sturdy as hell, which gives me peace of mind.

One of my favorite features is the decline option, which allows for a wider variety of exercise options, especially for ab workouts.

What I love most is that it's easy to set up. The legs unfold easily, you pop in the pins, and you’re ready to go. The soft-open gas shock makes folding and unfolding downright fun—no stiff hinges or finger-pinching frustration.

The non-slip feet and bumper caps keep it steady for standing on, and of course, they also protect our floors.

Overall, this is a high quality, sturdy bench that solves a ton of problems. It gets the job done, and saves a ton of space in the process.

A great addition

The spotter arms integrate perfectly with the Agile Rack — a smart, well-executed design that hints at the exciting potential for more attachments from Verse in the future. On my first day using them, I felt confident enough to push heavier weights without worrying about failing a lift.

A staple for your home gym

I’d always wanted a squat rack but never pulled the trigger—until I came across the Verse Agile rack. It’s the perfect space-saving solution, and I love how it folds away when not in use. Back in 2020, I actually built my previous squat rack out of wood, so this has been a huge upgrade. I’ve had it for about two years now, and if you’re thinking about getting one, I highly recommend it. It’s incredibly sturdy too.

Works as advertised

I have a pretty small space where I need to set up and take down the rack for every session. It just fits and does the job well. The combination of price and portability is unmatched. Generally it is really easy to set up and take down. My teenager daughter can do it, although the spring loaded pins are a bit tough for her to pull. Note that you need about 44" on a side to extend the uprights horizontally before you can flip them up. In a really tiny space with less than that, this can require some spatial reasoning. Once it is all locked down and tightened, it is pretty sturdy. I'm 6' and can comfortably use the 2nd to last hole for squats. At that extreme there is a little sway when you re-rack, but it is barely noticeable. The J hooks could be a little longer. The only other note is that when it is folded up, the bars do not lock together. So when moving it, you kind of squeeze it to keep it together

Backyard gym

So far this has been perfect. I don’t have room in my house for a rack. I don’t have a covered space outside for a rack. With this rack I can keep it in my shed and protected from elements and it’s SUPER easy to set up. Much sturdier than I was expecting. Excited to really start pushing myself on squats now that I have a rack

Great Rack/Great Company/Great Customer Service

This review is actually an update to a previous review. I received my rack quickly and without issue. Upon unpacking the rack, I noticed that I was missing a few bolts from the foot plate. I reached out to Michael Tseng and with the assistance of Shane, they corrected the issue. Replacement bolts were sent out with extras if I needed them. I could not be happier with the service I received. I would recommend this Rack to anyone looking for a well built rack that saves space. Honestly…there’s nothing to think about…BUY AN AGILE RACK TODAY!! You will not regret it!! Thank you again Michael and Shane!! I appreciate your assistance!!
